The Mariposa Democratic Club is pleased to announce that Rosemarie Smallcombe will present some of the key propositions that will be on the November ballot at our meeting on Saturday, August 9th at 9:45 a.m. at the Miner’s Roadhouse.

As always, there are a number of propositions on the ballot this November; the full list is available from: www.sos.ca.gov/elections/ballot-measures/qualified-ballot-measures.htm . Rosemarie Smallcombe will outline key elements of the propositions and outline the pros and cons of the more controversial initiatives. In particular, props 45 and 46 (“Justify Rates” and the “Troy and Alana Pack Patient Safety”) have and will continue to generate heated discussion. Come hear why at the meeting!

We will also discuss our plans for participation in the Labor Day weekend parade and our booth at the County Fair.
