November 7, 2019 - The Mother Lode Jewish Community will be holding a workshop on “Living Jewishly” on the afternoon of Sunday, November 10^th, from 1:00 P.M. to about 3:30 P.M. in Columbia.  This is the first of three workshops led by Rabbi Andra Greenwald planned for this New Year.  Those gathering will explore the myriad ways we remain connected to our faith in seemingly "ordinary" ways.  A person donating food, clothing or time might consider himself or herself "not religious," but this workshop will help us to rethink this.  Please join us to learn new ways to "be Jewish" on a daily basis and to recognize the ways you may already be doing this!  It will include a short nosh break.

The MLJC will also be holding a member led Shabbat service beginning at 5:30 P.M. in Sonora on Friday, November 15^th.  This will include a potluck meat and pareve dinner.  December events include a Shabbat morning service on Saturday, December 7^th and the MLJC’s annual Chanukkah party on Saturday, December 28^th.
