Possible peak wind gusts for Sunday: Mariposa and Oakhust 20 mph and 36 mph for Yosemite Valley

As of 7:45 A.M. Sunday morning the Sierra Sun Times weather station has recorded peak wind gusts up to 17 mph since Midnight.

December 22, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports strong winds will continue ahead of a cold front that moves inland from the coast today.

The map is a forecast of peak wind speeds we're expecting with this storm system before the arrival of rain.

Brisk winds will make travel difficult, esp for high profile vehicles.
