January 2, 2020 - Now that the excitement of the Holidays is behind us, it can be pretty quiet around here. Stay in touch! Come on over to the Coulterville Old Schoolhouse on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 for the Northern Mariposa County History Center Breakfast. Enjoy a great breakfast of pancakes, eggs cooked to order, ham or sausage and fresh fruit from 8:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Adults are $5.00, children $3.00 and a family of four (2 adults, 2 children) is just $15.00. The Schoolhouse is located at the corner of Broadway and Cemetery St. Remember, this event is an important fund raiser that helps keep Coulterville’s museum open 4 days each week, February through December.
The NMCHC was established as a 501c3 charitable organization in 1976 with the museum opening to the public in 1980. Visited by thousands each year, including international travelers from around the world, the various displays and photos provide an authentic glimpse of the life and times of the pioneers who helped settle the area in the early 1800’s and those who traveled west during the 1849 California gold rush.
Memberships and volunteer opportunities of all kinds to fit all sorts of interests are available.
