New Melones Lake

January 19, 2020 - SACRAMENTO, Calif. – In observance of the civil rights leader’s birthday, Martin Luther King Jr., the Bureau of Reclamation’s New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa will waive day-use fees at direct-managed areas on Jan. 20, 2020. Other fees, such as those at concession-managed areas, overnight camping and boat launching, will still apply.

The New Melones Administration Office, Visitor Center and Museum is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is located at 6850 Studhorse Flat Road, in Sonora. The Lake Berryessa Administration Office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Dufer Point Visitor Center is open from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Both facilities are located at 5520 Knoxville Road, in Napa.
