ORIGINAL POST:
Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives believe that the man pictured here was involved in the burglary of an antique water pump at the Coarsegold Historical Museum in the 31000 block of CA-41 on Sunday January 26, 2020. He was captured on surveillance video walking around on the museum property during non-business hours (around 11am-12pm). At one point he could be observed approaching and touching the water pump that was stolen.

The water pump that was taken is red in color, and was stolen from a wood base in front of the adobe house at the museum property. The water pump was estimated to be from the early 1900’s and had a replacement value of $250.00.

#MCSO Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the surveillance footage. The black cap he was wearing was recovered in a nearby wooded area.
