February 5, 2020 - Mariposa Democrats are invited to get together for the next meeting of the Mariposa Democratic Club to discuss any current topics. This gathering will take place on Saturday, February 8 at 9:30 A.M. at the Miner’s Roadhouse located at 5159 Hwy. 140 in Mariposa.

While the club usually invites a guest speaker, “the leadership feels there are many topics to discuss during an election year and people should have a place to express themselves,” said President Jaye Howes (pictured.) Topics can cover local, state, or federal items.

This is also a chance for people to meet other Democrats and not feel they are all alone in Mariposa County. Many new friendships have been formed at previous meetings. Free coffee and tea will be available, but if you would like to order breakfast for yourself please plan to arrive at 9:00 A.M.

The meetings, always held the second Saturday of the month, are open to the public. There is also a club membership available for a nominal fee with forms available at the meeting. This will be an exciting year to be part of this dynamic group because of the upcoming November elections.
