In addition to participating in international projects, the Mariposa Club achieves this mission locally by giving scholarships to graduating seniors, presenting monetary awards to women that are the heads of their households seeking further education, sponsoring the high school prom dress project “The Elegant Dress Closet”, and donating funds to organizations such as Manna House, a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to all in need and the J.C.
