March 24, 2020 - In accordance with federal and state health and safety guidance, MID is continuing to take temporary steps to reduce the potential spread of coronavirus. Although MID is taking advantage of the weather to temporarily pause deliveries and conserve water in Lake McClure, all water and electric operations continue. MID is monitoring weather conditions and growers needs: deliveries will resume as growers’ needs dictate.
The MID Main Administration office will remain staffed but closed. For the remainder of the week, water orders will not be taken during the pause in delivery but will soon resume as growers needs dictate. Customer payments can be made online or by calling customer service. For more information, visit www.MercedID.org.
MID is taking a variety of temporary steps to protect its employees and the public, in accordance with federal and state health and safety expert guidance.
In an effort to protect public health and the safety of park visitors, volunteers and staff, all camping and day-use facilities will be temporarily closed at Lakes McClure and McSwain. This includes fishing, recreational boating, houseboating and mountain biking. Full refunds will automatically be provided to customers whose reservations have been canceled for camping or cabin rentals. For more, please visit www.LakeMcClure.com
