Ferguson Rock Slide on Highway 140 in the Merced River Canyon
February 14, 2015 - Caltrans has announced the dates for three presentations to the residents of Mariposa County concerning the Ferguson Project Permanent Restoration.
(1) February 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Caltrans presentation to the Board of Supervisors at the Government Center, 5100 Bullion Street.
(2) March 3, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Mariposa Town Hall at the Government Center, 5100 Bullion Street.
(3) March 4, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. El Portal Town Hall in the Multipurpose Room at the El Portal School
The format for the Town Hall meetings will be an open house with tables for each partner — including, at a minimum, representatives from Caltrans, Myers/Wadsworth Joint Venture (the prime contractor) and Granite Construction (responsible for job site management and hauling the talus to the Mariposa landfill).
