Mary has been serving as the Interim County Administrative Officer since September 15, 2014, and prior to that she worked for the County as the Deputy County Administrative Officer, a position she was promoted into on April 1, 2004. Mary has a good knowledge and history of the operations of the County having worked in County Administration since May 1997. She has worked extensively on developing and monitoring the County’s budget for over 10 years and understands the financial issues and complexities of local government.
Mary was ready to retire from County service last year, but has agreed to take on this new role because of the number of recent changes in key department head positions as well as having two new Board members. Her experience will help facilitate the new department heads with their roles in leading their respective departments.
