September 10, 2020 - There are several community opportunities for learn more about Measure N, but if you are only free this Saturday, September 12, this is the one for you.

Fremont CEO Matthew Matthiessen will be talking about Fremont Hospital and Suzette Prue will speak about Measure N during a Live Zoom meeting at 10:00 A.M. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Matthiessen has been the CEO for a few years and before that was hired as CFO at the hospital. He led a financial turnaround and has led the hospital through the Covid-19 pandemic. Prue has served on the Fremont Foundation and hospital Board of Directors and continues to be a hospital support and healthcare advocate for the community.

Measure N will be on the ballot all Mariposans will receive via the mail the first week of October. It is a measure designed to provide funding for building a new hospital by Jan. 1, 2030 to meet new earthquake deadlines. The Yes or No question to support it will be the last question on the November ballot, so people need to go all the way to the end before returning their ballots.
