October 20, 2020 - The Health & Human Services Agency, Adult & Aging Services Senior Firewood distribution season officially concluded as of February 28, 2020.   

THANK YOU! to the CAL FIRE Mt. Bullion Camp crews for bringing wood down to Mariposa from all over the county as well as the weekly supervised CALFIRE Mt. Bullion crews for loading firewood into South County senior adults’ pickup trucks or small trailers from October 16, 2019 through February 26, 2020.   

We distributed approximately 425 loads of firewood in South Mariposa County.  

We look forward to working with the CALFIRE crews during the upcoming 2020-21 season which will begin on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.   

Seniors 60 yrs.+ who need assistance with firewood please contact the Senior Center at 209-966-6632.
