November 8, 2020 - The U.S. Forest Service reports smoke and air quality outlook for the San Joaquin-Yosemite areas, due to the Creek Fire.
Fire: The Creek Fire is 379,729 acres and is 70% contained. Snowfall amounts of 4-12 inches over the fire today will continue to suppress fire activity. No fire spread is expected for the remainder of the week. Fire information can be found at: inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7147/
Smoke: Heavy fuels will continue to consume and produce some smoke. Smoke production is not expected to impact communities surrounding the fire.
