November 9, 2020 - The U.S. Forest Service reports smoke and air quality outlook for the San Joaquin-Yosemite areas, due to the Creek Fire.
Fire: The Creek Fire is 379,729 acres and 70% contained. Snowfall has blanketed fuels and continues to provide moisture across the entire fire. Shorter days will continue to reduce active burn period. No fire behavior or growth is expected on the fire today. Fire information can be found at: inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7147/
Smoke: Heavy fuels will continue to smolder and produce minimal amounts smoke today. Smoke production is not expected to impact communities surrounding the fire.
