During the tour, we will speak about the following consumer-facing issues.
- Smart Device Theft Prevention
- The FCC’s Consumer Help Center (and helping consumers and advocacy groups better understand the easier ways they can file complaints to the Commission).
- Pocketbook Issues which impact consumers on a day-to-day basis (slamming, cramming, etc.)
- Universal Service Programs, primarily Low-Income (Lifeline) in consumer settings and Schools and Libraries (E-rate) in local governmental settings.
- MHealth
There will also be a presentation at the Mariposa Board of Supervisors Meeting
