December 3, 2020 - Message from the Mariposa County Public Health concerning the current Regional Stay at Home Order and what it means for Mariposa County.
We know there have been a lot of questions about what the newly announced Regional Stay at Home Order means for Mariposa County. We hope to clarify something here.

Mariposa County is included in the San Joaquin Valley Region.
At this time, we are NOT in a Stay at Home Order and can continue to operate in the Red Tier.
HOWEVER, we are waiting for the State of California to release the official ICU capacities for each region. If the ICU capacity for our region is less than 15% we would have to move into the Stay at Home Order.

What to do for now:
- If you are a business, be sure to learn what changes for you in the Regional Stay at Home Order.
- Keep wearing your masks, washing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
- Stay home as much as possible, but especially when you are sick.
- Avoid interacting with those outside of your household.
