December 7, 2020 - Mariposa County Public Health on how does the Regional Stay Home Order affect lodging?

All lodgings will be closed to short-term occupancy for non-essential travel. This includes vacation rentals, B&Bs, hotels, and motels.

Lodging is ONLY to be used for COVID-19 mitigation and containment measures and accommodating essential workers and essential travel.

Non-essential travel is currently not permitted.

-What is considered essential and non-essential Travel?

-“Non-essential travel” includes travel that is considered tourism or recreational in nature.

-“Essential travel” includes: work and study, critical infrastructure support, economic services and supply chains, health, immediate medical care, and safety and security.
