Jonah Dacanay, who recently performed his first solo piano concert for the Mariposa community, receives a big congratulations at the end of his performance from his music teacher Gail Vanderslik.  

In front of the audience, Vanderslik said to Dacanay, "You did a fantastic job!"

Dacanay, age 11 from Mariposa, received a standing ovation from a full house of friends, family, and the Mariposa community at the Mariposa Lutheran Church.

Dacanay presented flowers to his music teacher at the end of the concert.  

Dacanay, who played a repertoire of 11 songs, is the first student of Vanderslik's Sounds of Music Studio to perform a solo piano concert.
