January 22, 2021 - Yosemite National Park officials report the Park will remain closed at least until Tuesday, January 26, as a result of damage to park facilities caused by this week’s Mono wind event.

When the park reopens, visitors will be able to enter the park using El Portal Road (Highway 140), Big Oak Flat Road (Highway 120 from the west), and Hetch Hetchy Road.

Areas south of Yosemite Valley (including Badger Pass, Wawona, Mariposa Grove, South Entrance, and Wawona Road) will remain closed until further notice.

In support of the California Regional Stay Home order in the San Joaquin Valley region, once the park reopens, it will be open from 8 am to 5 pm for day-use activities only.

Lodging and campgrounds are currently closed. Some services and facilities are limited, and shuttles are not operating. Consistent with the state’s regional stay home order, day-use limits will be in place until local conditions change.

Visit www.nps.gov/yose for updates.
