COUNTY ROADS CURRENTLY UNDER CHAIN CONTROL:
- Jerseydale Road - R2
- Darrah Road - R2
- Chowchilla Mountain Road - R2
- Tiptop Road - R2
- Triangle from Hwy. 49 to Darrah schoolhouse - R2
- Triangle Road on the Hwy. 140 side - R2
- E. Whitlock Road in Midpines - R2
- Carleton Road - R2
- Wass Road - R2
Chain Control Definitions:
R1: Chains are required - snow tread tires allowed.
R2: Chains are required on all vehicles except four-wheel drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels.
R3: Chains are required - all vehicles - no exceptions.
