The Mariposa Public Utility District (MPUD) was established in 1947. The District provides water, wastewater and fire protection services to the town of Mariposa. The District currently has 722 service connections and is approximately 873 acres in size. Policy is established by a Board of Directors which consists of five members elected at large.
Mr. Rowney is coming to update us with an overview of the MPUD and to discuss the current state of their water supplies. In these drought times, we are eager to hear what he will say.
