February 28, 2021 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) reports on Friday, February 26, 2021, Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program (ICAC), regarding the possession of child sexual abuse imagery.

Later that same day, MCSO Detectives served a search warrant at the residence in the 26000 block of Ellis St. in Madera County and recovered images of child sexual abuse imagery.

The occupants of the residence, Jose Pelayo, 22, and Ethan Hill, 27, were taken into custody and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections for felony possession of child sexual abuse imagery.

This investigation remains ongoing.
