March 12, 2021 - Yosemite National Park will open additional campgrounds during the 2021 summer camping season, with social distancing measures in place. All open campgrounds will require reservations. First-come, first-served camping will not be available in 2021. These modifications are temporary and are a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At 7:00 A.M. PDT on Monday, March 15, 2021, camping reservations will go on sale on Recreation.gov for dates through August 14, 2021.

Camping in Yosemite Valley

Upper Pines Campground: On March 15, reservations will become available for arrivals between July 15–August 14 for 120 sites (with 17 additional sites available between May 1 and August 14).

Lower Pines Campground: On March 15, reservations will become available for April 19–August 14 (reservations for June 14–July 15 became available on February 15). Lower Pines Campground will open April 19–October 25 with 64 sites.

North Pines Campground: On March 15, reservations will become available for April 15–August 14 (reservations for June 14–July 15 became available on February 15). North Pines Campground will open April 15–October 25 with 58 sites.

Camp 4 will open on April 15. Reservations are required and available one day in advance by lottery. While the usual practice is for sites to be shared, each site will be assigned to a single party (of up to six people). Camping Outside Yosemite Valley

Tuolumne Meadows Campground: On March 15, reservations (required in 2021) will become available for July 15–August 14. Tuolumne Meadows Campground will open July 15–September 20 with 137 sites (and four horse sites).

Wawona Campground: On March 15, reservations will become available for June 15–August 14. Wawona Campground will open June 15–October 25 with 72 sites (and two horse sites).

Campground dates are subject to change based on conditions.

Group campsites will not be available in 2021. Hodgdon Meadow, Crane Flat, Tamarack Flat, White Wolf, Yosemite Creek, and Porcupine Flat Campgrounds will not open in 2021.
