March 18, 2021 - Lately, the MCHS Academic Boosters Club has been purchasing gift items from local businesses for the Mariposa County High School Staff Club. ABC board chair Jill Harry has been making the purchases and delivering them to Staff Club organizer Stephanie Bobman. Bobman is using these gifts, as well as some donated by additional high school clubs and departments, to use as prizes. Bobman has been arranging activities for staff to take part in related to students.

Every time staff members participate, their names are put into a container. At given intervals, names are drawn for prizes. The drawings started in January and will continue throughout the school year. The goal is to help MCHS staff continue to feel motivated and appreciated during this difficult school year, thank them for all they are doing for students, and at the same time, support the local economy. Purchases have been made from twenty-three local businesses.

Buz Arnold won the Haberdashery socks and gift card.

Brooke Dobson won the Anahata basket.

Jordan Walters won a grand prize including Grizzly gear and other spirit items from MCHS campus groups, as well as coffee, gift cards, and a few Mae It Be Home items donated by ABC.
Katelyn Strickland's Grizzly Swag Bag contained a variety of gifts including items donated by MCHS welding, MCHS ASB, Staff Club, and ABC.

MCHS Academic Boosters Club, Inc. (ABC) is a 501(c)3 organization with the mission of supplementing and enriching academic experiences and providing educational tools for Mariposa County High School students.
