Mariposa has many talented young musicians in the MCHS Grizzly band. Some of these young musicians are going to get up on stage to play with The Soul Galaxy and watch them "light up the crowd". This Saturday, April 18th starting at 5 p.m. in the Mariposa Art Park "those" things will happen!
The Mariposa County High School Grizzly Marching Band will start the evening off at 5 p.m., follow with The Soul Galaxy! For Some songs with The Soul Galaxy, a couple of the marching band's best players will form a special horn section with Jr. Walker All Stars, Saxophonist, Willie Rankin, and Jon Kidd will get to take a break and let some really good drummers sit in.
This super cool evening will be one of the marching bands last fundraisers before they head to Washington D.C. to perform in our nation's capital Memorial Day Weekend Parade and Concerts.
SO! Bring your $$$, a lawn chair, or blanket and your dancing shoes... It's going to be a really cool night of great music for all. This will be a great day for everyone in attendance.
This is a free concert. The Band Boosters will sell some delicious bake goods and beverages to help with their fundraiser to help the band get to Washington DC.
