Here in the Yosemite Foothills, the Spring show season has begun. Like the wildflowers, art shows are popping up everywhere. There is so much going on, and deadlines for artists are looming!
Yosemite Western Artists will be presenting the 43rd annual Tri-County exhibit at Timberline Gallery from May 2nd through May 10th. Delivery date for artists is Monday, April 27th. www.yosemitewesternartists.org

The Call to Artists for SAT 2015, the 13th annual Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour in underway. The artists submission deadline is Friday, May 1st. www.sierraarttrails.org Sierra Art Trails is the largest and most anticipated exhibit in the region, with artists presenting in locations throughout Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties. The show presents the best fine art and fine craft in the region. This is a great opportunity to explore the area and to get a taste of local culture, dining, entertainment and ART!

Stellar Gallery focuses on fine art photography, and also presents a number of unique rotating exhibits throughout the year. "The Folio Show" is an invitational exhibit showcasing work by eight outstanding photographers presented in a standardized format.
