Pioneer Market recently donated $1,050 to Sierra Foothill Charter School as part of the store's Sports Program. Parents and community members submitted Pioneer receipts to SFCS, volunteer Phyllis Turpin added up the totals of all the receipts, and SFCS submitted them to Pioneer. Pioneer donated back to the school 1% of the total sales. The donation will be used to purchase Physical Education and playground equipment. Here, grateful students (pictured left to right) Laten Butler, Cole Silva, Khalil Neogy, Emilee Cordero, Ryan Ramirez, Weston Frazer, and in front, Izabella Wright and Kylee Hutchings stand around a sign expressing the entire school's thanks to Pioneer Market for such a wonderful program and generous donation. The program is ongoing and SFCS would be please to accept Pioneer Receipts from all who wish to send them in.
