June 26, 2021 - Merced – On June 26th at approximately 12:26 P.M., Officer B Saelee was patrolling in the area of S. M Street and Gerard Ave. He saw a grey Dodge Challenger at the intersection take off and break traction. The car began doing “donuts” in the roadway. There was another vehicle that was nearly struck by this vehicle.
Saelee made a traffic stop and arrested the driver Sergio Valencia (23) for reckless driving and impounded the vehicle for 30 days.
