August 4, 2021 - Early this morning, Mariposa County Public Health was alerted of a positive COVID-19 test impacting the Summer Day Camp Program. Mariposa County Parks and Recreation was Mariposa County HHS logo 300immediately notified. All campers and unvaccinated staff who were at Day Camp on Monday have been asked to quarantine following COVID-19 guidance.

All unvaccinated individuals must quarantine for 10 days from their last exposure and cannot test out of quarantine. Those who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine if they are not showing symptoms. Testing is recommended four (4) days after the last exposure. Free testing is available in the back of the Mariposa Senior Center Tuesdays - Saturdays from 7:00 - 11:30 am & 1:00 - 3:00 pm. You can schedule your appointment by visiting lhi.care/covidtesting or by calling 1-888-634-1123.

Mariposa County Public Health recommends:

*Wearing masks in all indoor public settings, regardless of vaccination status.

*Those who have close contact with the public should get tested for COVID-19 every 14 - 28 days.

*If you are sick, stay at home and schedule a COVID-19 test.

*Get vaccinated if you are eligible and have not done so already.

*Everyone cooperates with Public Health case investigations, contact tracing, isolation, and quarantine.

The above measures will have a limited impact on our economy while slowing the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses in Mariposa County.
