May 14, 2015 - SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Appropriations Vice Chairman Frank Bigelow, R-O’Neals, issued the following statement in response to Governor Brown’s May budget revision:
“Once again the Governor has hit the mark with his commitment to paying down our wall of debt and I commend him for that,” Bigelow said. “It’s clear that education funding remains a priority and it’s also clear that there is simply no need to extend the Proposition 30 tax increase. Lastly, I am disappointed that we have not moved the needle on water storage and I will continue to engage in that fight because it’s the right thing to do for California.”
