September 10, 2021 - Yosemite National Park Fire Update for Friday, September 10, 2021.

Tiltill Fire is now 2,323 acres 90% contained. Smoke will be seen from the Hetch Hetchy area.

Cold Fire, no change 8 acres 90%

Piute Fire, no change 3 acres 90%

County Line and Lukens, no change , still showing signs of interior burning and smoke will be seen along Tioga Road and high country vistas.

Mirror fire discovered September 9. One half acre contained near Snow Creek and Tenaya Creek, Mirror Lake. Cause is under investigation. All trails are open.

Major amounts of lightning throughout the Park and west of the Park from last night's storm. Fire managers will be assessing the impacts of this storm, but it is anticipated new fire starts will be discovered from this storm. More lightning is expected today.

One new fire has been discovered near Ackerson Creek between the Park Boundary and Aspen Valley. The Ackerson Creek Fire is 3 acres and is burning in the Rim Fire footprint. Fire crews are on this fire and are engaged in full suppression.
