September 25, 2021 - KNP Complex Fire in Sequoia National Park updates for Saturday: 42,055 Acres.
Overnight Infrared Flight Notes: Interpreted Size: 42,055 Interpreted Acres - Growth since last flight: 5,198 Acres
Observed perimeter growth the Western and Northern side of the perimeter.
System Techs: Heavy smoke over the area. LWIR on Western edge presented good imagery, but did not get much visual. Smoke was layered beneath us. No columns up at 14,500. Good lateral visibility.
