September 27, 2021 - The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in acquiring information on the whereabouts of a horse, pony, and horse trailer that were stolen on Friday, September 24 from the area of Avenue 20 and Road 24. Photos and identifying information are shown below.
There are no known suspects at this time, but it is believed a dually pickup truck was used during the theft. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Madera County Sheriff’s Corporal McEwen or Deputy Hudec at (559) 675-7770.
- 5-year-old brown and white paint mare- Has a club right rear hoof; heart shape brown patch on left flank; sky blue colored eyes, and some possible rain rot on rump.
Last seen wearing tan and purple colored nylon halter.
- 5-year-old cremello paint stud pony- Has sky blue colored eyes.
Last seen wearing a brown green colored nylon halter.
- Trailer is an older, unknown brand straight load with dual rear doors; interior of trailer is painted red.
