Steve Sula, Battalion Chief 7111 is Mariposa County Fire member of the month. Steve has served 14 years with Tuolumne County Fire and 15 years with Mariposa County Fire. Steve shares that he joined the department to give back.
Outside of the department, Steve works in route sales for Bimbo Bakeries. When asked what he would say to others about being a member, he replied: “It’s not a club, it’s a job! Some days are harder than others. You give a 100% without pay. You give a lot of your heart.
Steve shared that the most important thing he has learned in his training/career is how to work as a team...no one person can do this job. Thank you Steve for sharing!
