October 25, 2021 - Merced – On Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 9:44 P.M. Officers were called to the area of Loughborough Dr. and Denver Ave. for a report of a carjacking.

The victim a female, (36), was driving in the 3100 blk of Austin Ave. While stopped at the stop sign, at intersection of Loughborough Dr. and Denver Ave., an unknown male suspect approached the driver’s side window and struck her in the face. The suspect grabbed the victim and threw her from the vehicle and drove off towards R St.

The vehicle that was taken is a black 2015 Cadillac CTS with Wonder Woman decals and stars on the doors, CA 8ESY947.
