November Continuing Education Pest Management Workshop
October 29, 2021 – The Mariposa County Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) will be presenting its annual 2021 Winter Integrated Pest Management workshop on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Mariposa Fairgrounds Building A.
If you are interested in learning about California State Department of Pesticide Regulation pertaining to Renewal Requirements, Breakdown of a Pesticide Label, Brush Spraying and Maintenance of Fire Breaks, the Top Ten Violations, Non-Chemical Options for Weed Control, Oak Tree Management, or Using Fire for Weed Management, then come join us for this workshop.
If you need continuing education hours for your California State Department of Pesticide Regulation license or you’re Private Applicator Certification, 6 hours of DPR continuing education credits including 2.5 hours of laws & regulations have been approved.
On-site registration for the workshop will began at 8:00 A.M. and the workshop will run from 8:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
The cost for the workshop is $40 and includes snacks, lunch, and handout materials. Registration is required; please register by Friday, November 12, 2021.
Please be prepared to show photo identification for admittance to the workshop. Bring a chair cushion for your comfort.
