October 31, 2021 - We invite you to come and partake in the festivities November 5, 6 & 7. Our store, along with “Miriam‘s” (behind the new Twiss Realty office) and “The Company Store” (Downtown) will be participating in the weekend. Volunteers from Manna House will be here, selling tickets to raise money for our local food bank. With each ticket you purchase, $1 each or 6 for $5, you have a chance to win a $75, $50, or $25 Gift Certificate to Chocolate Soup.
We have lots of great gift items and our Children’s room is filled to the brim with wonderful toys, books, and fun stocking stuffers. The Kitchen room will have lots of kitchen gadgets, towels, and vintage items along with your favorite food items and some new ones, too! Mama Bear’s Kitchen Co. has been busy packaging their delicious Scones, Hot Cocoa‘s AND this year their new Cocoa Bombs!
As you’ve probably heard, shipping and transportation has been a major issue this year and, even though I ordered my Christmas inventory back in January, not all of it will be here by first of November. Nonetheless, the store will be decorated with everything we have in stock! I would encourage you to like and follow us on Facebook (Chocolate Soup Mariposa) and as more items come in, I will post pictures of what is new. OR, you are welcome to come in every week to see what’s new!
The holiday season is so much more than all the decorations in the world. We must be like the “Who’s of Whoville” and stand hand-in-hand, singing in the joys of Christmas. As the beloved Christmas Carol goes:
“A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn;
Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!
O night divine! O night when Christ was born.”
I am ever grateful for all our customers who have supported us over the years. PLEASE NOTE: There is on-going road construction along the driveway entrance to Chocolate Soup, but our parking area is open! However, since the construction complicates our parking situation little more, we very kindly ask those who are able, to please park across the street or behind Pizza Factory at the bottom of 5th Street and stroll the lovely creek walk to the store.
This will hopefully leave our parking area less congested and available for our patrons who need to be within a closer walking distance to the store. We thank you so much for this consideration!
