Soroptimist Raffle Off Gift Certificate Wreaths

November 17, 2021 - Soroptimist International of Mariposa is currently selling raffle tickets to win one of four beautifully decorated wreaths featuring gift certificates and items purchased from local merchants.  Each wreath has at least $150 worth of products and gift cards.  All funds raised will be used for local scholarships and grants for local women and girls.  

The wreaths are located at Creekside Nursery, Happy Burger Diner, Lone Wolf Designs and Trent’s Styling for His & Hers Salon.  Tickets are $5.00 each or 6 tickets for $25.00 and may be purchased at Creekside Nursery, Happy Burger and Trent’s Salon, as well as from any Soroptimist member. 

The drawing will be held December 10, 2021.  Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.  In addition to participating in international projects, the Mariposa Club achieves this mission locally by giving scholarships to graduating seniors, presenting monetary awards to women that are the heads of their households seeking further education, holding an annual “Dream It Be It” career conference for local girls, sponsoring The Elegant Dress Closet, and donating funds to organizations such as Manna House, a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to all in need.
