December 5, 2021 – Merced - On 12/05/21 at approximately 2:21 A.M. (0221 hours) Officers Bolanos attempted a traffic stop on a red Toyota Supra who failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The driver of the vehicle then failed to yield to the officer. A short pursuit was initiated until the vehicle became disabled after colliding with a center median at E. Childs Ave. and Campus Parkway. Two 15-year-old juveniles were the occupants of the vehicle. The juveniles did not sustain any injuries.
