December 20, 2021 - Sierra Tel, serving both Eastern Madera County and Mariposa County, revealed that its 2022 telephone directory is in celebration of our Veterans.   

The directory showcases the three Veterans monuments located in Mariposa, Ahwahnee and Coarsegold and provides information on where to find additional information about each of them and their journey from vision to completion.

Sierra Tel believes “there is a reason why many of our customers reside in the small mountain communities we serve; the care, appreciation and respect by its residents towards fellow community members are a few of them. This same positive energy is responsible for the memorials that have been erected in the communities of Ahwahnee, Coarsegold and Mariposa in honor of our Veterans. We hope that our customers take time to visit these monuments that were lovingly established in appreciation of the brave men and women that have served the United States of America.”

The new directory includes business and residential phone numbers for Oakhurst, Ahwahnee, Bass Lake, Fish Camp, Yosemite, Coarsegold, Raymond, North Fork, Mariposa, Catheys Valley, Coulterville, Hornitos, Mt. Bullion and Midpines.

The directory also includes useful information about government representatives, emergency preparedness and emergency numbers, senior services, caller ID blocking, Sierra Tel customer services, schools, community information and a calendar of events.

Over 19,000 copies of the directory will be distributed through the mail starting approximately January 3 and additional copies will be available at Sierra Tel offices after mid-February.
