December 25, 2021 - Yosemite National Park officials announce the Big Oak Flat Road (continuation of Hwy 120 from the west toward Yosemite Valley) will close at 5:00 P.M. today (Dec 25) due to snow.

The road will be evaluated in the morning.

Use El Portal Road/Highway 140 and Highway 49 for access between Groveland/Buck Meadows and Yosemite Valley; watch for rocks on these roads.

Carry tire chains and be prepared to use them while traveling in the Yosemite region.
