January 11, 2022 - On Tuesday afternoon, Mariposa County High School sent the following to the high school families:

Good Afternoon Mariposa County High School Families,

Jeff Aranguena mariposaDue to a rise in positive COVID-19 cases, we are temporarily suspending in-person instruction and extra-curricular/co-curricular for students at the Mariposa County High School. This is effective starting Wednesday, January 12, and expires Friday, January 14, 2022.

Mariposa County High School shall return for in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. School site administrators and staff will be reaching out to provide follow up instructions regarding next steps for parents and students.

We will continue to collaborate with Mariposa County Public Health to reduce the impact of COVID-19 in our schools. We ask that parents, students, and staff continue to take additional actions to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our schools including practicing good hand hygiene, staying home when sick, and wearing a mask appropriately.

By collectively taking these actions, we can all reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our comrnunity, reduce the impact on our children, and keep each other safe and healthy.

Warm Regards,
Jeff Aranguena, Superintendent
