Honorable Michael A. Fagalde, Mariposa County Superior Court Judge, the Mariposa County District Attorneys Office and Starchman & Bryant Attorneys at Law recently presented the program “When You Become 18” at the Mariposa County High School.  The program was arranged by Anita Starchman Bryant of Starchman & Bryant Attorneys at Law.  Judge Fagalde, Mariposa County District Attorney Thomas Cooke, Deputy District Attorneys Devan Portillo and Gina Florick addressed the graduating MCHS seniors in Mr. Abney’s classes.

The attorneys enlightened the senior class on topics concerning their new responsibilities upon reaching the age of 18.  A range of issues were addressed including driving under the influence, insurance, rental agreements, credit, working and taxes, crimes and consequences, dealing with domestic violence, civil laws and lawsuits, and finding legal help.  Each MCHS senior received the brochure “When you Become 18, a Survival Guide for Teenagers” provided by Starchman & Bryant Attorneys at Law.
