January 31, 2022 - The Tuolumne County Sheriff reports human remains found in forested area of Twain Harte have been identified as 31-year-old Rod Trujillo. Trujillo had been reported as missing to Sonora PD by family members on October 30th of 2021.

The investigation is on-going but there is no foul play suspected at this time.

We express our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Trujillo.
