February 2, 2022 - Merced – On February 1, 2022, at 11:39 P.M. Officers were dispatched to the Smoke Shop at 1420 Yosemite Pkwy for an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect who was wearing all black clothing including a dark colored mask entered the store and demanded money. The suspect was armed with a handgun. At 11:58 P.M. officers were called to 1107 Loughborough Drive at the 7-11 for another armed robbery. The same subject entered the store and again demanded money. Video surveillance concluded that the same suspect was involved.
