February 16, 2022 - SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Bureau of Reclamation’s New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa field offices, as well as Stony Gorge Reservoir, will waive day-use fees on Feb. 21 to observe President’s Day. Other fees, such as overnight camping, boat launching, and fees associated with concession managed areas, will still apply.

At Stony Gorge Reservoir, 19 miles northwest of Willows in Elk Creek, boat launch fees at Skippers’ Point will still apply; this launch and the surrounding day-use area remain open year-round. Both New Melones Lake and Lake Berryessa administration offices remain closed, as well as the exhibit room/museum at New Melones Lake, due to COVID-19.

In support of the President’s Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing, face masks are now required in all federal buildings and facilities. Masks are also required on federally managed lands when physical distancing cannot be maintained.

All visitors are advised to continue to follow CDC guidance to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
