February 20, 2022 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Mariposa, Madera, and northern Fresno County portions of the Sierra Nevada from 4:00 P.M. Monday afternoon until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow may cause travel difficulties.
Winds will gust as high as 40 mph.
Motorists should be prepared for slick road conditions and potential travel delays.

The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Winds will also be gusty with gusts to 40 mph. Winds coupled with the cold temperatures will also create dangerous wind chills.
