Sierra Foothill Charter School celebrated the last day of the 2014-2015 school year on Friday, June 19, with lots of fun activities including movies and treats in classrooms; signing yearbooks; blowing bubbles; creating chalk art; choosing books to take home; participating in parachute games, a prize walk, and live "hungry, hungry hippo" games (students on scooter boards trying to catch balls inside baskets); and the bittersweet task of saying goodbye to staff and friends for summer vacation. One student even rode away on a horse! School starts again on August 19. Kylee Hutchings and Jane Goger were lucky enough to have their tickets drawn for prizes at the morning line up/flag salute. Khloe Reynolds creates an enormous bubble. Ian Harry paints Danny Brown's face. Face painting was a popular activity! Lourdes Walker chooses a book to take home. Ruckus games of human Hungry, Hungry Hippos took place in the multipurpose room.
