March 14, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Routes 49, 132, and 140 this week in Mariposa County.

• One-way traffic control from Allred Road to Varain Road for tree work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

• The #1 lane (left) will be closed from Shilling Road to Route 132 for curb/gutter/sidewalk work beginning Monday, March 14, through Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 132

• The #1 lane (left) will be closed for slope repair/clearing from Hayward Road to Old Highway 49 beginning Wednesday, March 16, through Friday, March 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to Coakley Circle for electrical work beginning Monday, March 14, through Friday, March 18, 2022, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to Savage Trading Post for drainage work beginning Tuesday

• One-way traffic control from Savage Trading Post to South Fork Merced River for drainage work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
